Physiological Optics Lab
The lectures and practical parts of the physiological optics last two terms. Knowledge according to elementary vision components, phenomenons, visual effects, physiological processes in the visual system, to the colour perception, perimetry and much more is thought. Different places for practicing can be used in this large and modern equipped lab.
The following experiments are done:
•  assessment of the visual colour perception

Anomaloscope HMC by Oculus with
computer-based recording unit for determination
of colour anomalies

Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue Test

Testing and training of reaction time, visual
memorization and peripheral vision
•  reaction board

Tonometer XPERT NCT Plus for non-contact
recording of intra-ocular pressure
•  measurement of the intra-ocular pressure

Nyktometers Rodenstock 500 and Oculus
•  mesopic vision

Vistech chart and Pelli Robson charts
•  examination of the contrast vision
(Buser Test, Pelli Robson Charts, Vistech Charts, Regan Charts)

Mariott charts to determinate position of papilla
•  determination of position of papilla (blind spot)
•  determination of the psychometric curve of the eye
•  dependency of the visual acuity on no corrected ametropia
•  perception of phenomenons at the Pulfrich pendular
